the art of creating

Anden and Mckay are really enjoying their art and building projects.  I need to scan in several of Anden's current drawings and upload them.  It's so fun for me to see what he creates (especially after he says he can't or doesn't know how to do something and then goes and does it when I encourage him to try).  He's drawn everything from family members to fish (his new favorite animal apparently) to flowers to 'no bad guys allowed in our house' signs (picture of a 'bad guy' with a circle and slash on top).  Mckay still prefers sticker projects, but is also starting to color more (he likes to tell us his drawings are pictures of ladybugs--when Anden was Mckay's age he always said his drawings were just squiggly lines, never specific objects).  They are into pretend play, too, building cool things with their legos, bristle blocks, dominos, magnatiles, etc.  What fun ages!
