We took the kids to the Stockyards in Ft. Worth for the first time Mother's Day weekend (I finally got the pictures uploaded to my computer). We went for a ride on the Trinity River Run train while there--the kids LOVE train rides. Not the most picturesque area on a train, but enjoyable (and something different to do). It was perfect weather--supposed to rain (but didn't, thank goodness) and breezy...We overestimated Finley's patience, though. She'd had enough after about 30 minutes, but we were only halfway done with our ride. Of course I'd left her snacks in the car, too, which she did NOT appreciate.
