About time...

Four and a half months...it's been a while, I know. I keep thinking about all that has happened since the last post and get so overwhelmed that I put off updating our blog. I've done that a dozen times or so. Of course that just makes it that much more difficult to get caught up...

What has happened? In a nutshell, we've celebrated five birthdays (just in our immediate family), celebrated our 9th anniversary, enjoyed visits from grandparents/aunts/uncles/cousins galore, had a great trip to Utah, Anden started 1st grade, started fall tumbling/dance/sports classes, Mckay started speech, made new friends, and we spent six weeks this summer renovating our home.

Looking through the photos we've taken, it's amazing how much the kids have grown up and changed over the summer. Anden just lost his 8th tooth. Mckay is a reading champ. Finley is about 95% potty trained (FINALLY!). Graysen is running everywhere and got his first (much needed) hair cut. My friend Kathy recently said that "with kids, the days are long but the years are short." So true.

So, I'm going to try to go back and document what's been going on on our end...so you will get a sense of life with the Watchman family during summer 2011 (and maybe a little autumn, too).
