Mckay had his 3 year old doctor checkup over two weeks ago. He was very happy that he didn't get any shots this visit. Here are his latest stats: 40 inches tall (95%), 35.5 lbs (90%), and normal blood pressure. He's only one inch shorter than Anden was at his 4 yr old checkup. I'm afraid it's only a matter of time before Mckay is taller than his older brother. There is only a 2-3 inch difference right now...maybe that's why strangers always ask if they're twins?!
He requested homemade chocolate marshmallow brownies and homemade chocolate marshmallow ice cream for his birthday. Raegan thought he should still get an official b'day cake, so we grabbed this little beauty from our favorite bakery.
He and Anden are REALLY into trains right now, so we followed Aunt Bethanne's advice and got Mckay some GeoTrax. They are a HUGE hit--with everyone! This course was built by daddy after the kids were in bed.
Anden will literally spend 4-5 hours every day building and rebuilding different 'obstacle courses' for their trains. He can come up with combinations that would take me forever to figure out. Love it! Just wish they were a little quieter playing with them...
